In John 1:6-12 says, "There was a man called John, who was sent from God. He came as a witness to testify about the light so that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but came to testify about the light. The true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world and the world was created through Him and the world did not know or recognize Him. He came to His own, and His own people did not receive Him. But to all who receive Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of God." (technically children of God, but also called sons of God).
Now, here is an event where a man meets Jesus for the first time - Face to Face in a relatively private encounter. Now take this similar encounter 2,000 years later and include the whole world, at the same time, when Jesus returns. Well lets look at this revealing of Jesus to mankind and see what things we can learn from it and see if it will shed any light on His return.
This is found in Acts 9:3-9, which says, "As he (Saul, later known a Paul) was nearing Damascus, a light from heaven suddenly flashed around him. Falling to the ground, he heard a voice saying to him, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?' Who are You, Lord?' He said. 'I Am Jesus whom you are persecuting', He replied..."
We have to remember that it was noon, or when the sun is at it's brightest, and yet when Paul recounted this event to king Agrippa in Acts 26:13. Paul said it was midday and he saw a light from heaven brighter than the sun, shining around him. Not only did those with him fall to the ground, yet Jesus was only speaking to Paul. Now here is where it really gets good!!!!!!!!!!!
This is another interesting feature to this, face to face encounter with Jesus. All those in company with Saul, fell to the ground, but only Saul heard the voice, Acts 26:14, (Paul speaking), "When we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me in the Hebrew language..."
In the Days, when Jesus is Revealed, the earth will also be like the days of Lot, Sodom and Gomorrah
"It will be the same as it was in the Days of Lot: people went on eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, & building. But on the day that Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be like that on the Day the Son of Man is revealed. But on the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed" Luke 17:28-30
The Son of Man - (Jesus) - will not come privately, where only a select few will see Him. On the contrary, all will see Him!
"For just as the lightening, when it lightens out of one part under the heaven, shines unto the other part under heaven - so shall the Son of Man be." Luke 17:24
Matthew 24:23-26 says: "Then if anyone says to you, "Behold, here is the Christ, or there He is, do not believe him. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. 'Behold I have told you in advance. So if they say to you, 'Behold, He is in the wilderness, do not go out, or, 'Behold He is in the inner rooms, do not believe them."
In the same Book in the Bible, Luke, we are called: Sons of the Resurrection, Luke 20:36, "For they cannot die anymore, because they are sons of God, sons of the resurrection", and also called Sons of Light Luke 16:8, "...for the sons of this age are more astute than the sons of light in dealing with their own people."
Matthew 24:29-31 says: "But immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened....and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. And He will send forth His angels with a GREAT TRUMPET and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
As on a cloudy day or night, when the lightening is flashing illuminating the heavens, Jesus will come, yet in a miraculous way. Everyone on the earth will see Him, like lightening flashing, at exactly the same moment in time. Have you thought about it? This is why we will not know the day nor the hour, He might appear to me at 12:00 noon in Albuquerque, but because He appears at the same moment in time all over the world, He will appear to someone in Seattle at 11:00 AM or Sydney, Ontario, Canada on the same day at 2:00 PM, or some place in Russia at 12:00 midnight. All at exactly at the same moment, yet all showing different times on their watches, in different places throughout the world.
Let's go back now, to 6,000 years ago to the time of Adam's creation and see if that event was similar to the one Saul mentioned. In Genesis 1:1-5 it says, In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the earth. Now the earth had become formless and void, and darkness covered the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God moved over the waters and God said, 'Let there be Light', and there was Light. God saw that the Light was good and God separated the Light from the darkness. God called the Light, Day and He called the darkness night. And the evening and morning were the first day."
the following is a list of what Jesus, the Bright and Morning Star will do for us, when He shines into our hearts:
1) To open our eyes:
a) that we may turn from darkness to light
b) That we may turn from the power of satan to God
2) That we may receive:
a) forgiveness of sins
B) and share among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus.

While working on each page, I'll revise, edit, and get comments from the Lord, thru prayer, the Bible & my friends - so please stay tuned, while under construction.
The major difference between the description of the Days of Noah and the Days of Lot, is that marriage is missing in the Days of Lot! Is marriage, an institution given to us by God for the betterment and thriving of mankind, under attacked? Are we in the days of Lot? This thought comes to us from a good friend of mine in Grapeview WA.
